Bargello is also a term familiar to quilters. Strips are used to create
different designs. I think it’s equally, if not more so, beautiful when done
with paper. Once you know the technique, you can make elegant cards for any
occasion. (Bring some patience:)

Bargello Ornament Card

Supplies:
1. Small, sharp paper trimmer (something able to trim narrow strips) or
A rotary trimmer, small cutting mat, and clear ruler
2. Small, sharp scissors
2. 7-10 different colors of 5” to 6” washi paper
(a mixture of light, dark, and medium colors)
4. Approximately ½ yard coordinating ribbon (the bow on the ornament)
5. Two 8.5”x11” coordinating pieces of cardstock (card background)
6. Favorite cardmaking adhesive |
